Mexican hats are one of the most common and beautiful flowers of all time.

They can grow from two to three feet high. You can usually find the blooming in June through September. It grows in the mid west part of

North America. The colors on the petals are orange, yellow, and red.

They prefer well drained soil. You usually find them in hot humid climats.

Did you know that they  have a cone top like a Mexican hat ?

They can take five to ten days to grow.  Their scientific classification name is asteraceae and their scientific name is ratibida calumnnar. You can find them in praries slopes roadsides and wastlands. The aggie horticiture
